The Sunday Post
Hosted by: Caffeinated Book Reviewer
Description: The Sunday Post is a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog. This is your news post, so personalize it! Include as much as you want or as little. Be creative, it can be a vlog or just a showcase of your goodies.
So according to an email I received this morning, I have hit 100 followers on bloglovin! I mean, it’s pretty awesome in my opinion, but I’m pretty easy to please, so I’d be impressed with less honestly.
I think I’m going to take a feather out of the caps of other bloggers and ask YOU guys to help pick out my next reads. Obviously, these will be pulled from my personal stacks or Kindle backlog–I’m still going to be reading my ARC/request backlog books, as well. AND…I’m starting this week, because let’s be honest–if I keep doing what I have been, I’m NEVER going to pick up my own books again! Which means…POLL TIME!
I’ll probably go with the top 3 each week and post up a new poll every Sunday for this. I think that’s manageable considering the new schedule I’m starting this week, but I’ll parse it down if it gets to be too crazy. We’ll see, basically. For now, GOGOGO and vote!
The husband and I finished Scream: Season 1 last night and OH. MY. PENGUINS. I am dying. I need to know what happens next. I need to know my favorite character of aaaaaall the characters is not actually part of the madness that happened. I just… GAH I NEED TO KNOW! Season 2 just started technically… I’m hoping the hubby will agree to buy the episodes we’ve missed and keep watching, because darn it, I don’t wanna wait!
Girl Meets World: High School started up last week and I am super excited about it. I know I’ve said it before, but I LURVES me this show! It’s soopah adorbs and brings back all my Boy Meets World nostalgia. It fills the void, okay?! The void in my flaily penguin heart!
Yeesh I talked a lot up there about pretty much nothing important–oops?! Those are the bestestest updates though, right?! Good, I’m SO glad you think so too!

I voted for Broken Fate because I bought that one and I’m curious to see how you like it. I actually bought it mostly based on the author’s bio! (A very weird reason, I know – I actually wrote a whole post about that, if you’re curious.) I eventually want to read Miss Peregrine too, though – of course, I’ve heard amazing things about that series.

The husband keeps pushing me toward Miss Peregrine, so..I suppose it's time I picked it up? XD

Ahh, congrats on the 100 bloglovin’ followers Beth 🎉🎉 Also, I started watching Scream but then got distracted haha. I should finish the series.
I voted for Miss Peregrine’s! I think it’s a really great character driven story. I also really want to read Every Heart a Doorway. It seems really interesting.

*flaily penguin* YUSYUS watch iiiiiiiit! Although…do you mean Scream the movies or Scream the tv show? Because MTv took on the challenge and has actually turned it into a TV series, bahahah, which is what I was ranting about up there! They’re currently releasing season 2 now.

Haha, yeah I meant the TV show 😊 I’ve seen 3 or 4 episodes. I’ve seen all the movies a bunch of times. I love those!

I am seeing bloggers ask readers what they should read next more and more. It’s a great idea when you aren’t sure what to pick up and encourages reader involvement. I still need to watch the second season of Girl Meets World. You’re right, the nostalgia feels are strong. It’s one of those shows that is perfect for binge-watching, so I’ve had to wait for Netflix. Hope you have a phenomenal week!

Hi, Alicia, and thanks for stopping by!
I’ve seen this floating around, too–also in other formats. Earlier today, I stumbled across a blog that does “Shelf Swaps” with one of their readers/followers every month–it was a really interesting and fantastic idea!
Oh, here’s hoping you get the chance to binge it soon! You have a great week, too! ❤
