HELLOOOOO, penguins!

So, we’ve officially opened the new store.  I’ve been effectively “managing” it since training ended, and have started learning all the ins-and-outs in terms of things like labor costs and food costs, etc.  The employees are beginning to get into the daily schedule and are getting used to the work.  There are a few promising personalities who’ve been promoted to shift leaders, and business is slowly beginning to pick up at lunch.  Night times are still a bit slow, but that’s to be expected.

Keith and I went to Beauty and the Beast last weekend and OH, MY PENGUINS, that movie!  If you haven’t seen it yet, you seriously need to drop everything right this second and go change that, because that movie is eeeeeeeeverything.  I adored the backstories we got, I adored LeFou (which is weird because before this, I always kind of considered him to be a one-dimensional side character?  In THIS movie, though?!  LeFou is just…. GAAAAAH!  GAAAAAAH, I adore him so hardcore, I’ve officially changed my opinion about him.)  I just cannot even right now about this movie, penguins.  Do me a favor and go see it, okay, so we can flail and fangirl about it together?  Please? (and if you HAVE seen it, PLEASE FLAIL AND FANGIRL ABOUT IT WITH ME!)

So I decided, spur of the moment recently, to try logging in to Instagram again.  Remember I told you, months ago, that I was having issues?  It kept telling me my account had been disabled on my phone, but was still letting me onto my profile on the computer?  Well, I reinstalled the app a few weeks ago on a whim….and YAY, it worked!  So I’m “back” on instagram, though I need to get back into the habit of taking pictures and posting and whatnot.  I’ll admit, even just a few months away was enough to break the habit?  Bad, bad me.  (It also doesn’t help that I’m working something like 48-50 hours a week)

I’ve been on something of a reading spree the last few weeks.  I’m sure you noticed, with all the reviews suddenly going up on my blog.  Hopefully you’re enjoying my thoughts on them, as I’m having a ton of fun writing reviews again.  I’m TRYING to catch up on some of my backlog….not sure it’s working, but I’m doing my best.

I officially got LitCube back in my life and LET ME TELL YOU, I’M SO SUPER HAPPEH ABOUT IT!  I missed LitCube something fiiiiiierce, and I’m so pleased I was able to jump back into it with this month’s theme–Beauty and the Beast!–because we all know I’m obsessed.

I know I’ve been seriously slacking on the blog hopping front lately, and I’m SUPER sorry about this–so here’s what we’ll do.  LINK ME to a recent post you’ve put out there on the blog block you want me to read and/or think I SHOULD read, and I’ll read it.  And comment on it.  And schtuff and things, because yes.  (this last sentence makes no sense but roll with it like the Penguin-Panda hybrids the bestie Annelise and I both know you all secretly are beneath your meat suits)

Also, I need some new memes in my bloggish world, so…if there’s a meme you’ve been enjoying lately that you’d like to see me hop onto, PLEASE let me know?!  I WANNA DO ALL THE THINGS AGAIN, GUYS–I just need a little bit of motivation!
