YAAAAAAAAAY, book pictures!  I just… I can’t even!  Uhm…so, let’s jump right into this, because…I post a lot of book pictures?! which means there’s not much room to chitchat.

So….in fact, I think I’m just gonna pick my favorites from the last week, because there are a lot and WHO HAS TIME FOR THAT?!  So yes.  My favorites.  TOOOOOTALLY easier, that!

This cover is soooooo gorgeous, I drool over it every single time?  LOVE the color choices made here.

dobby

DOBBY!  Because he’s the best example of cute-ugly I’ve ever seen and I love him.

izzymalone

And Izzy Malone.  I just love how sweet this cover is; you can tell, just looking at it, that it’s a middle grade read.  There are also SO many elements from the story used in the cover art, it’s beautiful.

My feet, my Hatter, and my bear named Elizabeth.  No, really–that’s a TY bear, named Elizabeth, which is why my dad got it for me.

because who doesn’t love BOOK MAIL?!?!  I mean really, book mail IS the best mail.  You can’t change my mind on that.  And I am SO SUPER EXCITED about these three books, I can’t even!

I don’t know why, there’s just something so super pretty about these covers…and this picture?  If I weren’t myself, I’d be in awe…of…myself.  Which makes no sense but GO WITH IT, penguins.  Go with it!

This picture goes to prove…. I have a serious #fairytaleretelling obsession.  This isn’t even ALL of them for these two fairy tales!  And that’s not including the OTHER retellings I own, that aren’t for these specific two!  XD

And this one!  This is probably my absolute favorite from the last week, and I’m not sure I can even tell you why.  It’s just sooooo pretty!

#friday56 number four! I picked up #unlundun by #chinamieville at random for this post, and I’m so glad I did! If you love #aliceinwonderland , you should consider trying out this awesome #retelling

“They passed squat tower blocks, arches of brick and stone, the hotchpotch slopes of roofs. There were stranger things, too: sky-scraper-high chests of drawers in polished wood, spires like melting candles, houses like enormous hats and bats. Deeba pointed at gargoyles and pigeons on some of the houses, then started: some of the gargoyles were moving.”

About the Book:

Un Lun Dun What is Un Lun Dun?

It is London through the looking glass, an urban Wonderland of strange delights where all the lost and broken things of London end up . . . and some of its lost and broken people, too–including Brokkenbroll, boss of the broken umbrellas; Obaday Fing, a tailor whose head is an enormous pin-cushion, and an empty milk carton called Curdle. Un Lun Dun is a place where words are alive, a jungle lurks behind the door of an ordinary house, carnivorous giraffes stalk the streets, and a dark cloud dreams of burning the world. It is a city awaiting its hero, whose coming was prophesied long ago, set down for all time in the pages of a talking book.

When twelve-year-old Zanna and her friend Deeba find a secret entrance leading out of London and into this strange city, it seems that the ancient prophecy is coming true at last. But then things begin to go shockingly wrong.

Unfortunately, I read this BEFORE my days of review awesomeness started, so I can’t link you to my review.  I DID give this 4/5 Penguins, though!
