So, it’s Sunday!

I feel like time has reeeeeeeeally slowed down the last couple of weeks.  Maybe due to my excitement about the move?  I don’t know, but time needs to kick back into gear already!

I have all my movies packed away, and half of my books stored.  I can’t decide if I should just go ahead and do a MASSIVE bookstagram photoshoot at some point this week and finish packing up my shelves, or… leave it?  I probably should just get it done and over with–less to worry about that way, right?

My mom, grandma, and I did dinner on Thursday.  Nothing special–we just went to a restaurant here in town, as they were open.  Mom has some medical stuff coming up the next few weeks, so we spent some time figuring out a plan.  She’s having a second carpal tunnel surgery done on her right hand, and an ulnar nerve (un?)impingement on her right elbow.  Her birthday is the 3rd…this goes down the 5th.  Happy birthday to her?!  She’s also going to start having neck injections done; the first is set for the 20th.  Hopefully these will help with the neck pain she’s been experiencing.

My aunt finished her round of steroids, but it’s become very apparent she’s suffered quite a bit of memory loss from the tumor–both short and long-term.  She doesn’t even remember ME, and I’m 28 years old, so that tells you how worrying this is.  We aren’t sure she’ll ever be able to recover the time she’s lost.

My niece, who is also a type 1 diabetic, has been having seizures the last couple months.  She’s been seeing a neurologist–they aren’t currently sure if it’s the diabetes or something completely different causing the seizures.

Basically….my entire family is falling apart at the moment.  I’m just hoping I’m not leaving at a VERY bad time.  We’re not super close, but…it’s still family?  My grandma is taking it especially hard.

Apart from that, I just keep trekking.  How were all your Thanksgivings (if you celebrated)?  What have you all been reading this last week?!

      • Aww thank you! *blushes* Why are you #blogginggoals? Well, before starting to work, I had this pretty neat blogging schedule on na excel document and my blog was Always running smoothly, full of reviews, blog tours, blitzes, random News, lists, wishlists, memes, tags… all the nice things. I’ve been on my current job since the last week of May – almost seven months – and I still haven’t found my footing yet. I know you work full time as well and have your own battles to fight day by day and still manages to run a wonderful and complete blog! For me, this isn’t just awesome, it’s a sign of strenght, of persistence, and I wish I could show my blog the same respect you show yours, without falling into boring and #lookalike posts =)
Also, I promise not to miss, but you can always tag me to make sure I won’t – WHICH REMINDS ME I HAVE A TAG TO DO, OMG, I HAD TOTALLY FORGOTTEN ABOUT IT *runs to the hills to do the tag while she has the time*

  1. I’m sorry that your family is having such a rotten time of it. When something goes wrong, other bad stuff seems to multiply along with it. I hope you get some better news about your aunt as time goes by. I’m keeping everything crossed for you all.

  3. Hiya! I know this is kinda off topic but I’d figured I’d ask.
Would you be interested in exchanging links or maybe guest writing a blog article or vice-versa?
My website addresses a lot of the same subjects
as yours and I feel we could greatly benefit from each other.
If you’re interested feel free to send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you!

    Fantastic blog by the way!
