I just realized I’ve reached 300 followers on wordpress–to all my fellow bookish penguins, THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I feel like I don’t interact with a lot of you often enough, though, so here’s what we’re gonna do.  In the comments, feel free to leave me:

    I’d link you to one of my favorite posts, but Shelfie is super new, so we don’t have a whole lot.

    My favorite book is ever changing, but right now it has to be A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas. Uprooted by Naomi Novik coming in a close second. What is your favorite right now?

    • Hi, and thank you! I’ve seen you lurking around lately–I can’t wait to see what you guys put out in the future! I’m sure it’ll be awesome!

      I haven’t read either of the Court books from her yet, though I own the first. I tried to read it at one point, but wasn’t in the mood for it and haven’t picked it back up. I also haven’t read Uprooted yet–but I’m DYING to. It’s just so expensive!

      My favorite is also constantly changing, but…my last 5 Penguin read was This Old Heart of Mine, by A.J. Compton. And the one before that was Wrecked, by Maria Padian. So, I guess those two?! XD Haha

      Since I’m a HUGE music addict…favorite song right now?

      • Yeah, I got a Netgalley copy of uprooted last year and then bought the hardcover because I liked it so much. But, it wasn’t a cheap purchase. :/ It is worth it, though!

        I haven’t heard of either of those. I will have to look them up.

        Oh, I am so behind on whats new in music. I’m still addicted to The Phoenix by Fall Out Boy. 😛

      • They were both ARCs of soon-to-be released books; they’re AWESOME, and mind-altering, so I definitely recommend checking them out! 😀

        I will eventually give in and buy a copy for myself. Or ask for it for Christmas, or a birthday. XD Whichever comes first!

    My Favorite book at the moment has to be ACOMAF by Sarah J Maas. Most beautiful book has to go to my current read Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children, the details are amazing 🙂

      I haven't read the Miss Peregrine's series yet…but I own the all, and the husband keeps pushing them on me. Hopefully I'll find time to sneak them in soon! 😀

    I have some questions!! 1) how are you so amazing? 😎 share your secrets! 2) Do the penguins ever bother you while you’re trying to read or blog? 3) was there a certain book that got you into reading?

      I don't know, it just OOOOOZES out of me!

      Nawwwww, they could NEVER bother me! They do often try to help with the typing, though, and as I'm sure you can imagine, that is uuuuusually a disaster. They're pretty good at holding up my books for me, though!

      Oh jeez. Uhm. I don't know about when I was younger–most of my childhood has been permanently wiped from my memory banks (PTSD, I think, but…I'm not for sure on that). Buuuut…I'm pretty sure the first book that kicked my reading addiction BACK into gear a few years ago was Conversion, by Katherine Howe.

      I honestly have NO idea what my current most favoritest book is, but prettiest? At this exact moment, I’m leaning toward my current read, The Masterpiecers, by Olivia Wildenstein. It’s SOOPAH gorgeous!

      Oh noes, haha! I haven’t read either of them yet, myself–I tried to read the first a while back, but just couldn’t get into it and haven’t tried again since. Hopefully the hype hasn’t died down TOO much when you get the chance to pick them up!

    Here’s one question for you 😀 How many socks do you own? (I just love socks xD)
    Now something about me. That’s hard because I never know what to say! I wish I could knit clothes for my dogs, but I have no skill. I did try, and the result was a disaster! Also, my favorite ice cream is salted butter fudge ice cream. Here you have two absolutely not interesting facts! haha!

      Uhm. I honestly have NO idea. We don’t have a dresser, or have space for a dresser, soooo…I probably own more socks than I think I own. XD How many do YOU own?! O.o

      I think knitting is one of those, it takes time to master, sort of things. At least, I think I’ve heard that somewhere? Lol.

      Ooooh, that sounds deliiiicious! I don’t eat ice cream often, mostly because I’m type 1 diabetic and don’t want to have to do extra insulin whenever I want a bowl! XD

      • I “only” own 25 pairs of socks (yes, I just went to the bedroom to count, haha!). I want to be a part of the knitting secret club xD One day, I’ll make more than half a quarter of a scarf!
        I don’t eat ice cream often because it’s too cold 😀 I know that’s the point of it, but then I get terrible headaches if I eat too much cold food!

        So I totally bought myself some ice cream today thanks to you. It’s Berry Cheesecake and OH MY PENGUINS, it’s delicious. New favorite flavor!

      • I’ve got all sorts of socks. My favorites are my Pacman socks 😀 But the weather is too hot to wear socks now! I have giant socks with little stars on it that I absolutely love, but my dog keeps attacking my legs when I have them on, haha.
        Yay, ice cream time! It sounds so GOOOOOOD
