So the husband and I decided to give the new Scream a try on Netflix, and PENGUINS, do I dig it!  We have two episodes left on season one, and I am just SO intrigued and entertained.  Good job, MTv.  Good job.

I made myself stuffed peppers a few nights ago for dinner.  The husband, picky eater that he is (no, seriously, ask me what he doesn’t like–the list is longer than the things he does!) refused to even try them, but GOOOOODNESS, they were delicious.  I guess I need to branch out more with my cooking.

I am slowly catching up on ARCs, review requests, etc (except not really, because I keep signing up for more blog tours…. XD ) I only have one ARC (from Netgalley, publication date set in September) and one request (from SO LONG AGO, I feel terrible I haven’t gotten to it sooner but there was no rush on it and I just… OOOOOPS!)  The rest are, as mentioned above, for blog tours.  I think I need to start trying to always be reading 1 ARC/request and 1 of my OWN books at a time, though, as soon as I get the chance to catch up–I love reading ARCs and requests and the likes, buuuut I own so many books I’m ALSO dying to get to… I need to prioritize differently, apparently.  How do YOU guys do this?!

Net month’s (July) LitCube theme was announced the other day and OH.  MY.  PENGUINS.  I’m excited about it.  For one, it’s going to be a new release with, apparently, a GORGEOUS cover.  For two, it’s Peter Pan.  For three, there’s apparently some soopah secret, never-before-seen-in-a-subscription-box before item.  I just…

I absolutely can’t wait.

The husband’s birthday is coming up (June 25th!) and I ordered his gifts last week.  Usually, I plan his gifts out with a theme (dragons; horror; Disney…) and can drop tiny hints along the way.  But…no theme this time!  Oops?!

    • XD I’ve never really been picky! When I was six, I’d eat practically a whole duck all by myself! So it’s weird, I guess, for me because…I don’t really care, I’ll eat anything! (except liver, because ew.)

  1. I would totally try the stuffed peppers! I love vegetables. And I’m not super picky.

I definitely feel you on the prioritizing ARCs vs backlisted books though! That’s the problem I’m having right now. It’s not even that I have too many ARCs to read, it’s that I just keep adding more and then never getting around to all those other books I’m dying to read because I’ll be stressed reading them if I know I have ARCs waiting for me. So I keep saying I’m going to seriously limit what I request/accept, but somehow it just never happens.

Ooh, I really like this song you shared. Just my kind of music 🙂 Thanks for sharing my post, and have a great week!

    • Right?! Like, I really don’t have that many to read because I’ve been staying on top of them…..but by staying on top of them and constantly requesting new ones, my already overwhelming OWNED stack (to which I ALSO keep adding XD ) has been super neglected. Oooooops.

So glad you like the song! 😀 Thank you for stopping by! ❤
