How do you find out about new books to read?
Well…. from all teh things, to be honest with you! But usually tumblr–tumblr is my go-to source for new and undiscovered reads. Everyone I follow on tumblr: you have epic taste. Thank you.
How did you get into reading?
I’m not entirely sure…though when I was six, my mom “gifted” to me (through Santa Claus and one very convincing letter penned BY “Santa Claus”) a copy of The Pagemaster. Sadly, I lost the letter and the book years ago. 😦 I think this might have been what got me started, though.
How have your tastes in books changed as you got older?
Well…where before, I only read a small handful of genres/authors, I now read ALL TEH THINGS EVER pretty much (except nonfiction and westerns? because I don’t wanna.) Also, I’m drawn more to the unique and…uhm…more creative? novels these days. The lesser known, the better!
How often do you buy books?
Oh jeeze. Like…practically all the time?! Especially for my Kindle. That thing is beyond loaded with books I need to make time to read…and yet I keep adding more!
How did you get into reviewing books?
I discovered booklr on Tumblr, leaped into the rabbit hole headlong, and from there traversed to this wonderland of fun! Honestly, that’s exactly how it happened. 😐
How do you react when you don’t like the end of a book?
It really depends on WHY I don’t like the end of a book. If I don’t like it because it SHATTERED me, I’m bound to fling it at a wall, call it dirty names, and sob over it for a week (or longer. Usually longer). If I don’t like it because I think it’s stupid/a cop out/stinks… I’ll still probably throw it at a wall, but I’m also burning it for good measure. Not in my house, book!
How often do you take a sneak peek at the ending to see if there is a happy ending?
NEVER! This is sacrilege!
Feel free to do or ignore as you wish!
